Friday.
It snowed little bit overnight.
There is a seed exchange tomorrow, so I prepared for that.
I am bringing sour cherry seedlings.
Hope somebody will adapt them.
Also I started another bread and cracker.
I had leftover chicken and rice, and Dan had ham sandwich for lunch.
The sourdough bread I baked yesterday had big crams and was a great success.
Dan called his insurance company and put my name on.
So we went for a practice run.
I drove to the co-op and back, and I was not very nervous.
It was much easier than I always expected and that felt good.
I will keep practicing.
Back home, I moved wood chips.
Underneath, it stated composting and the smell of it was just like the smell of deep forest.
It was so intense and brought me back to my college trips to the forest.
I wanted to keep doing but my back started feeling sore, so I stopped.
We made salmon, salad, cracker and goat cheese, and toast for dinner.
It was little celebration of Valentine's Day.
My workout was legs and I added some more stretching.
And pilates.
I finished knitting my socks. (Finally)
We started new show called “Kevin can f**k himself”
It’s a comedy but with weird twists.
When Kevin is in the room, everything looked like sit-com.
Then at the moment he leaves, everything changes.
Lighting, how the character talks, everything, but the story keeps going.
Who came up with this idea?
金曜日。
夜の間に少し雪が降ったよう。
明日は種の交換会なのでその準備をしつつ、またパンを仕込む。
余った生地でクラッカーも作ってみる。
交換会にはサワーチェリーの苗も少し持っていく。
誰か引き取ってくれるといいな。
お昼、わたしは残りのチキンとご飯を、夫はハムサンドイッチを食べた。
昨日焼いたサワードウ、穴がぽっかり開いていて、かなりうまくいったと思う。
夫が保険屋さんに連絡してくれて、わたしの名前も自動車保険に入れてくれた。
早速運転してみる。
うっすら積もっている雪はほとんど気にならない。
コープまで行って帰ってくる間、じぶんでも驚くほど平常心でいられた。
もっと緊張すると思っていたけれど、なんとも自然に運転できてうれしい。
しばらく練習を続けよう。
帰宅後、ウッドチップスを運ぶ作業。
表面の層の下で、静かに発酵が進んでいて、熱を持っていた。
その匂いのすごいこと！
深い森の匂い、大学の時に行った、朽木の森の匂いだ。
細胞まで一気に染み込むようで、くらくらするくらい、でも爽快な気分。
ずっと触れていたかったけれど、ちょっと腰が痛くなったので引き上げる。
夜ご飯はサーモン、サラダ、クラッカーに山羊のチーズ、トースト。
いちおうバレンタインなのでちょっとお祝いぽくしてみた。
ワークアウトは脚。
腰に効く感じで気持ちいい。
ストレッチ、ピラティスも追加する。
ずっと放置してあった靴下を最後まで仕上げた。
新しいシリーズを観る。

夫のケヴィンが同じ場面にいる時だけ、いきなり、いわゆるシットコムの画面になる。
口調もライティングも全て変わって、でも話は続いていって、それがすごくおもしろい。
誰が考えたんだろ。
2シリーズあるので、しばらくこれを観るつもり。
