We woke up in the middle of the night.
It was snowing hard.
I was afraid to check on my phone, but I did it.
No news.
Went back to bed till 9am.
It's a snow day, meaning, there was no work for Dan.
He was as happy as a kid.
We had coffee, and toast.
I made small snowman family by the window.
While he's having his counseling, I was hiding in the bedroom and
did darning on my PJ.
We made some offer for the new place in West. Let's see!
Dan made biscuits and eggs.
I make dinner: tofu, miso soup, kale, and rice.
夜中に目が覚めた。
しんしんと積もる雪。
携帯をチェックするのがなんだかこわい。
でもニュースはなし。
９時まで寝る。
スノーデイ。ほとんどの仕事が休みになり、市からも外出は控えてと連絡がある。
北国で海に面している土地のくせに雪に弱いニューヨーク。
誰もスノータイヤとか履いてないし。
雪が積もったら大人も子供も休んで遊ぶ。
日本の、東北の人とか見たらおかしいだろうな。
今回は４５センチの予報。
今日は仕事休みたいなと思っていた夫は大よろこび。
コーヒーとトースト。
窓際に小さな雪だるまの家族をつくった。
夫のカウンセリングの間寝室に閉じこもって、パジャマの繕い。
新しい土地の人と話す。
さぁどうなるかなー。
夫がつくってくれたビスケットと目玉焼きでお昼ご飯。
夜はわたしがつくる。
豆腐ステーキ、お味噌汁、ケール、ご飯。
明日も一日中雪らしい。
